I have been teaching mindful movement for twenty years,

both online and in person. I am a lineage-trained instructor with the International Yang Family Tai Chi Association, where I have recently been accepted into the Disciple Program. I am also a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Instructor, which allows me to bring a deep understanding of alignment and breathwork into my teaching. My mission is to help you rediscover what your body is capable of, no matter where you’re starting.

My classes are joint friendly, beginner friendly, and always at your pace. Every movement I teach is alignment based and breath led, with options for injury, pain, or limited mobility. 

HEALING THROUGH MOVEMENT

I began practicing Tai Chi, Kung Fu, Bagua, and Yoga in 2005 during a very difficult time in my life. These practices gave me both strength and healing when I needed it the most.

In 2006, I attended my first seminar with Master Yang Jun, an experience that opened the door to years of dedicated training. In 2008, I became the youngest person to host a seminar with Master Yang Jun, which further solidified my connection to the Yang Family lineage and set me on the path I continue to walk today.  For several years, I traveled around the country to study with him and deepen my understanding of the Yang Family tradition, opening my own school to share what I had learned.

My journey eventually led me to Seattle, where I trained directly under Grandmaster Yang Jun and Nancy Lucero, an experience that profoundly shaped who I am as an instructor. Most recently, I was accepted into the Teacher Academy of the International Association, sitting among the highest level of instructors in the world. 

Today, my focus is on helping others regain strength and confidence in their bodies, especially those navigating aging, injury, or rebuilding after life challenges. Many of my students share similar stories of rediscovering their resilience through mindful movement, and that is the heart of what I teach.
